ImageThe noble sea lemon Montereina nobilis was formerly in the genus Anisodoris. The black splotches on the dorsal surface are in between the rounded tubercles (bumps) and do not extend up onto the tips of the tubercles. The branchial plume (gill) is white and not yellow, but in this case it is totally retracted.
